Magic City Fashion Week MODELS!

What comes to mind when you hear MAGIC CITY FASHION WEEK? Innovation? Style? Diversity? Art? Confidence? Yes! All that and then some! Let’s strut into SEASON II with poise and presence! I’m Rickquel Young, Model Coordinator for the 2018 Magic City Fashion Week. As a volunteer during Season I, I was able to witness not only the art of fashion but community service personified, HIV Awareness, and my personal favorite - RIPPING THE RUNWAY!



2018 requirement highlights are:


  1. Be OPEN MINDED As models-YOU ARE THE BLANK CANVAS! Models represent the designers artistic expression. You must be free to allow the designers to present their creativity through your walk and presence on the stage.

  2. Attitude! Whether you are on/off the stage, attitude is important! Give us fierce Give us maskulint! Give us positivity! Give us YOUniquess!

  3. Time and Schedule! Be punctual! Being on time is LATE. Being early is ON TIME! It’s important to be enthusiastic about where you need to be and the time you need to be there!

  • Clean White tank | Fitted Blue Jeans | 3-4 inch heel ONLY - No wedges or heels higher than 4 inches
  • Makeup should be minimal and natural. Come as a blank canvas.
